The Sacred Heart Griffin Cyclones are accepting their Class 5A state championship trophy; Montini is accepting its second-place medals. Soon it will be time for the big game of the day for all of us: Richards Vs. Batavia in Class 6A.

The same scenario will play out, of course. One team will go home a champion, the other will take second place and congratulations for a great season. Which Bulldogs will be the winners?

Obviously, the kickoff isn't happening right at 1 p.m. They're now saying the game will start at 1:54 p.m., and we'll start posting at that time.
