Police Find Blood on Floor — Turns Out to Be Horror Movie Film

This is one of those incidents you couldn't make up — or if you did, it would sound too much like a sitcom plot to be believed.

Batavia police reports are limited in their information, and this one fell under the heading, "Suspicious incident."

Apparently what happened was that workers arrived early in the morning last week at a place of business in the 900 block of Batavia Avenue and discovered (insert scary music here) blood on the floor.

They called police, who then contacted the building owner, and the owner told police that the building is being used to film a horror movie.

“Blood is fake,” the report says.
