3 Added to Batavia Sex-Offender Map; Another Does 90-Day Renewal
One offender signs up for 90-day registration renewal.
In October, Batavia Patch ran a sex-offender map to help residents keep kids safe while trick-or-treating. The map was based on the information provided in the state's Illinois Sex Offender Registry.
The city of Batavia Police Department also provides a list of registered sex offenders, which was last updated Oct. 28.
Three registered sex offenders are listed on the Batavia Police Department site who are not listed on the state of Illinois site. Their names and addresses have been added to the interactive map shown here, with markers in green.
They are:

90-Day Renewal
A Batavia man filed a 90-day renewal as a convicted sex offender, according to a report at 11:49 a.m. Nov. 15 in the Batavia Police Department “Daily Report Synopsis, Media/Public Version.”
Frank W. Corbiere, 67, of the 900 block of North Washington Street, made the filing. Coriere shares the address with two other convicted sex offenders, Edwin L. Chance, 62, and Charles L. Clark, 26, according to the Batavia Police Department website. Another convicted offender, Carlos Rivera, 44, is listed as living at 920 N. Washington.
