A fire in Batavia on Thursday caused an estimated $120,000 in damages, mostly to motorcycles in a repair shop, officials announced Friday morning. The fire occurred at Diesel's Service and Repair on the 800 block of East Wilson Street. The Batavia Fire Department was dispatched to the scene at 6:52 p.m., according to a press release. Two residents stopped into the Fire Department's Station 1, located at 800 E. Wilson St., just down the street from the incident. Upon arrival, there was heavy black smoke showing from the building.
