Recognize any of these doting dads, or any of their darling daughters? They all had a blast last Sunday during the Batavia Park District's annual event, held at Rotolo Middle School.

These photos were taken on the coldest day in more than two years from the bridge in downtown Batavia on February 10, 2011.
You think it's cold out there? We aren't there yet, not having come close to the coldest day EVER since the National Weather Service starting recording this cold data. Records indicate the coldest day in Chicago was back in 1985, when it was 27 below zero with wind chills of 70 below! Brrrrr.... However, there is something peaceful about a wispy layer of fog hovering over our very own Fox River on Thursday, the coldest day of the last two years. Of course, with Valentine's Day coming and talk of temperatures in the 40s next week, things should be heating up real soon! Stay warm and stay safe, Kim
