2 Drivers Sent to Hospital After Minivans Crash Sunday on Fabyan Parkway

Two people were taken to the hospital Sunday night after their minivans were involved in a crash on Fabyan Parkway, officials said. The crash occurred on Fabyan along the bridge just east of Route 31, said Lt. Scott Hogan of the Batavia Fire Department. Batavia police and fire were dispatched to the scene sometime after 7:30 p.m. A total of two minivans were involved in the crash — one had a male driver, the other a female driver. Hogan refuted initial reader reports that the crash was a head-on collision. "One vehicle had heavy front-end damage, the other had heavy side damage," Hogan told Batavia Patch.
