Kane County Fair 2012 Talent Contest Winners From Geneva, Elburn to Compete in Springfield

Geneva's Eric Luminais will compete Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs Official Talent Contest State Competition. Next year's Kane County Fair is set for July 17-21.

The Kane County Fair Talent Contest first place winners Eric Luminais, 19, of Geneva, Senior Division, and Nicole DiSandro, 14, of Elburn, Junior Division, will compete on Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs Official Talent Contest State Competition in Springfield, IL.                   The talented Luminais performed an unconventional and complicated flute solo titled Three Beats for Beatbox Flute, Beats 1 & 2. DiSandro performed a theatrical vocal solo, Gimme Gimme from Thoroughly Modern Millie that was very strong and entertaining.
