Second-half Woes Continue to Haunt Bulldogs

For the second consecutive game, it was a forgettable second half for Batavia's basketball team. After playing near-flawless basketball for the first 16 minutes and building a 26-17 halftime advantage, the Bulldogs (1-3, 0-1) were outscored 45-28 in the second half on the way to a 62-54 road loss to St. Charles North (2-3, 1-0) Thursday night in Upstate Eight Conference River Division action. Free throws provided a big part of the difference for the North Stars, who knocked down 20 of their 27 second-half foul shots.
