A 38-year-old Batavia woman was charged Monday in connection to a Sunday disturbance that involved multiple stab wounds. Diane J. Romano, of the first block of North Van Nortwick Avenue, received the following charges: The charges result from what Batavia Police describe as a family disturbance involving two men and Romano. Officers were called to a home on the first block of North Van Nortwick Avenue at 2:34 a.m. Sunday. They found the two men, ages 19 and 34, with non-life threatening stab wounds. UPDATE: A Batavia woman has been charged in connection to this incident. A sister of the woman has also come forward with an account of what happened. Two men were found stabbed in a home on Batavia's west side Sunday morning, police said. Officers were called to the first block of North Van Nortwick Avenue at 2:34 a.m., according to Batavia Police. Upon arriving, officers found two men, ages 19 and 34, with multiple stab wounds. "Both victims were conscious at the scene and transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries," a Batavia Police statement said.
