The latest east side station opened in 2007 and includes the department's administrative offices. The latest west side station, Station 2, also opened in 2007.
The department responded to 3,250 emergency response calls in 2009, Batavia Fire Chief Randy Deicke said. The number includes medical- and fire-related incidents.
The department's fleet includes four fire engines, one ladder quint, one pumper squad, three ambulances, four staff vehicles, a technical rescue trailer, a breathing trailer and a public education trailer.
In addition to its firefighters, the department has 12 paramedics and 31 part-time members.
