About 8 months ago, I dyed my hair with a month long temporary black dye but it didn't come out. So a few weeks ago, I decided I would attempt to pull all of the dye out. I decided to go to Colour Line because of what I had heard of them. I went in for a consultation, not only was the salon obnoxious and everybody had to shout over the music, they wouldn't do my hair in the same day as the consultation. So I was there for an entire 30 seconds. They called me as soon as I left, saying it would cost around $233!! I cancelled my appointment right then. My father told his friends about the insane cost and they referred us to Shear Ambition. When I called I explained my problem, Freddie (one of the owners, I later found out) estimated it'd cost $100 total. I went in that day and he charged me $50 and my hair is completely back to normal! The staff was kind and friendly, the salon was clean and had many magazines to choose from, it even had ready made coffee, a water cooler, and a few snacks. They have many products to buy and don't push them on you. The music they play is at a good level and was nice. So, I went back the next day to get dead ends cut off and get some layers put in from Freddie. He was very polite and was a lot of fun to talk to. I believe on the first visit they take off 25% of the price, so everything I got was well worth it. I've been to all of the hair cutting places in Batavia, and so far, Shear Ambition is the best one I've found!
