Weekend Picks: Justin Bieber's Mom, Haunted Quarry, Swedish Meatball Dinner Benefit, Bulldogs at North

Plus Fabyan Preserve Stewardship Day and flutist Susan Conant.

Tops on the list of Batavia happenings this weekend might be the opening of the Haunted Quarry.

Haunted Quarry, 400 S. Water St., will be open from 7-10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, Saturday, Oct. 19, Friday, Oct. 25, and Saturday, Oct. 26, and is not suitable for kids under 10. Admission is $8, and proceeds benefit the Batavia Teen Center. Concessions, including hot dogs and hot chocolate, will also be available for purchase.

As always, there's a lot to do in and around Batavia this weekend.

And as always, I'm worried that I might have missed an important event. So if you see one that's not here, email rickn@patch.com, write a comment on this article and be sure to add it to the Batavia Patch calendar!
