Bicycle Commission Looks at Cyclists' Manners
The city of Batavia's Bicycle Commission meets at 7 p.m. at 100 N. Island Ave. Among the items on the agenda are the "poor manners of group cyclists."
TUESDAY, AUG. 13
Batavia Looks at Comprehensive Plan
The city of Batavia will review the environmental element of its comprehensive plan during a Committee of the Whole meeting. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. in City Hall chambers, 100 N. Island Ave., Batavia, IL 60510.
Makeup Registration for Schools
Aug. 13 is also a makeup registration day for School District 101. The event takes place from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Batavia High School.
FRIDAY, AUG. 16
BPS101 Buildings Closed for Limited time
To accommodate the Institute Day activities planned for Batavia School District 101 employees on Friday, Aug. 16, all buildings within the District will be closed from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
