The Artisan Collective event starts at 6 p.m. at 131 Flinn St. Batavia.
The collective is a flash market held once a month in different locations throughout Batavia and features hip, handcrafted goods from the best and brightest independent artists, designers and artisans in the Fox River Valley.

Immigration Reform Rally
Also on Thursday, Aug. 15, Organizing for Action-Illinois volunteers and supporters from the area will be holding a community action event to demand that U.S. Rep. Randy Hultgren move Congress forward on comprehensive immigration reform.
