Rotolo Middle School Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams Make Batavia History
The boys and girls cross country teams at Rotolo Middle School each take second place in the state of Illinois.
Rotolo Middle School's boys and girls cross country teams made Batavia history last Saturday by both taking second place finishes in the IESA State Championship meet in Normal, IL.
The teams competed in the toughest division, Class 3A, which was comprised of Illinois' largest schools.
Boys cross country coaches Bronco Meeks and Mark Montgomery and girls coach Kathleen Hillman couldn't say enough about how proud they were of their teams' accomplishments throughout the season and their performance during the biggest meet of their athletes' lives.
