Game Stats: 35-Point Second Quarter Makes for Easy Win Over Streamwood
Micah Coffey throws five touchdown passes and goes 12-of-14 for 203 yards.
If Coach Dennis Piron was worried about a letdown a week after Batavia's win over Geneva, well, it took until about halfway through the first quarter to cast away any doubts.
And the 35-point second quarter pretty much finished the deal.
Micah Coffey threw five touchdown passes and went 12-of-14 for 203 yards, according to stats provided by Piron. On the season, Coffey has completed 54 of 93 passes for 767 yards, with 10 touchdowns and four interceptions.
Anthony Scaccia added 184 all-purpose yards — 131 on the ground in 14 carries (9.36 yards per carry) plus 53 yards on three catches.
Next up is Friday's Homecoming game against West Chicago.
