ON TO DeKALB! Bulldogs Going to State Title Game, Beat Boylan 38-6!

The Class 6A state title game will be played at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at Huskie Stadium.

The Batavia Bulldogs will advance to the state Class 6A finals after handily beating Rockford-Boylan 38-6 Saturday at Boylan.

The Bulldogs scored first and never trailed, leading 6-0 after the first quarter, then piling it on with 18 points in the second period to lead 24-0 at the half. They added eight in the third quarter and six in the fourth and coasted to the 38-6 win.

Batavia will have a rematch against Oak Lawn Richards in the state championship Nov. 30 at Northern Illinois University's Huskie Stadium in DeKalb. Richards beat East St. Louis 7-6 to advance Saturday.

Richards handed Batavia its only defeat this season, a 31-26 Richards victory at Oak Lawn in the second game of the season.

Against the Titans, Anthony Scaccia scored three touchdowns, Rourk Mullins one, Jordan Zwart and Michael Moffat caught touchdown passes from Micah Coffey.

The Class 6A state title game will be played at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at Huskie Stadium.
