Batavia HS Alum Named To ESPN Academic All-District Team
NIU junior and BHS grad Kristin Hoffman becomes one of the first Huskies selected to the District 5 First Team.
Northern Illinois volleyball junior and Batavia High School graduate Kristin Hoffman was one of two NIU players named to the ESPN and College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-District 5 First Team.
This is the first time that the NIU program has had two student athletes receive this honor in the same season, according to the university.
Hoffman is a history major and has a 3.95 GPA on a 4.0 scale. She has been a NIU Victory Scholar (3.5 GPA or better) in every semester as a Huskie.
