The Dogs did it again.

Batavia earned its second straight win on Sept. 2, 2011 with a 48-7 contest against Plainfield East, thanks to three-year varsity quarterback Noel Gaspari and the team's sharp defense.

Gaspari directed the Bulldogs offense on five consecutive first-half scoring drives, and they hit Plainfield East with seven unanswered touchdowns to win the non-conference matchup in Plainfield.

“I’m very happy overall that everyone got a chance to play,” said Dennis Piron, Batavia's head football coach. “(Gaspari) is a poised quarterback, and he delivered the ball ... we have five very good wide receivers.”
