FINAL: Batavia Shuts Out Steamwood 33-0
The Bulldogs blank their first team this season and improve to a 4-0 record Friday during their Homecoming game.
Batavia finally got the shutout it was looking for this year.
The Bulldogs kept the Sabres scoreless all night on Friday to close a 33-0 Homecoming victory. It was another big game in front of a cheerful crowd at .
Five was once again the magic number of touchdowns for Batavia. They set the pace in the first quarter with a touchdown run from senior offensive tackle Adam Hunger.

Then the well-practiced teamwork of junior quarterback Micah Coffey and senior wide receiver Zach Strittmatter chimed in with a touchdown to close out the first quarter. Coffey also ran in a TD before halftime to put the Bulldogs at 21-0.
Coffey connected with Strittmatter again for a touchdown in the third quarter, and junior running back Anthony Thielk set the stage for classmate Kevin Green's short touchdown run.
