"I never thought I'd see the day," former Batavia Head Coach told BATV after the game. Current Batavia Head Coach Dennis Piron wouldn't have taken the job without Gaspari at his side as offense coordinator this year.

Spirits were high Friday night as the players accepted their Upstate Eight Conference—River Division trophy on the Bulldog Stadium field.

Gaspari's son Noel continues to shine for the team as quarterback with a record five passing touchdowns during Friday's game.

The Sabres nabbed points in the second half to avoid a shutout.
