AT THE HALF: Batavia 21, Lakes 0
The Bulldogs kept the Eagles scoreless in the first half of their 3rd round playoff game. Batavia played in Lake Villa, their first away game in about a month.

It's almost like the Batavia football team was playing at home.
The Bulldogs were 21-0 in the first half of their game versus the Eagles. The game continued at Lakes Community High School in Lake Villa, about 4 miles from the Illinois-Wisconsin border.

The seniors were out in force during the first half:
- Linebacker Austin Lewis recovered a block punt for a touchdown
- Fullback Alec Lyons had a 4-yard touchdown run
- Then tight end Cole Gardner caught a 16-yard touchdown pass from starting quarterback Noel Gaspari
- All three of Brandon Clabough extra kicks were good
