Free BHS Marching Band Show Held Thursday At Bulldog Stadium

The Batavia High School Marching Band will perform a run-through of their 2011 show "Arabesque" at the high-school football field on Thursday, Sept. 15, at 5:30 p.m.

The BHS Marching Band will perform a run-through of their 2011 show “Arabesque” at the football field Thursday, Sept. 15, at 5:30p.m. They will also be debuting their brand-new uniforms, replacing the previous ones that were 20 years old.

and open to the public. Parking will be readily available outside the high school on the Wilson Street side.

It will take place after a combined rehearsal with the 8th grade marching band, who will march in tandem with the high school band at this year’s Homecoming Parade on Wednesday, Sept. 21.

This "dress rehearsal" comes 48 hours before the band's first competition of the season at the Watseka Marching Band Invitational in Watseka, IL. Watseka is about 2.5 hours southeast of Batavia and 30 minutes south of Kankakee.
