Board OKs $190K BHS Varsity Baseball Fields Improvements

The project includes renovations to the backstop, fence and dugouts.

The Batavia School District 101 School Board on Tuesday authorized district administration to execute agreements with Batavia Youth Baseball, Batavia Boosters and Eagle Concrete to improve the varsity baseball field at Batavia High School.

Th vote allows the district to accept all resulting donations to complete specific components of the larger varsity baseball field project.

The scope of the project for the entire baseball field is more than $750,000, but the current project, which includes renovations to the backstop, fence and dugouts, is estimated at $190,000.
