BHS Sets Theme, Events for Sept. 23-28 Homecoming Week
The theme is "Decades" and the parade route has changed, so take a look at this article if you plan to attend!
The 2013 Homecoming theme at Batavia High School is “Decades,” celebrating some of the most popular decades of the 20th Century.
Class Themes
- Seniors: 1980s
- Juniors: 1960s
- Sophomores: 1950s
- Freshmen: 1970s

Theme Days
- Monday, Sept. 23: Class T-Shirt Day
- Tuesday, Sept. 24: Jersey Day
- Wednesday, Sept. 25: Dress Like Your Theme Day
- Thursday, Sept. 26: Color War – Each class wears a color – ’14 Blue, ’15 Green, ’16 Purple, ’17 Orange
- Friday, Sept.27: Red and Gold/Bulldog Pride Day

Special Events
Monday, Sept. 23, 7 p.m.: Class Olympics - Main Gym; Homecoming Court Announced
Wednesday, Sept. 25, 5:30 p.m: Homecoming Parade. The route has changed, starting at Wilson Street and Lincoln Avenue, the south on Lincoln, west on Main Street and end at BHS.
Friday, Sept. 27: All-School Assembly in the gymnasium – during school day
- 5 p.m. - Football vs. West Chicago (sophomore game)
- 7:30 pm – Football vs. West Chicago (varsity game)
Saturday, Sept. 28, 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.: Homecoming Dance in the BHS Cafeteria
