BHS Games Canceled But Some Practices Planned for Monday

Some basketball, wresting and gymnastics teams will practice despite the cold on Monday.

While school is canceled as well as all home and away contests Monday, Jan. 6, some sports teams will practice, according to the School District 101 website.

  • Boys' and girls' basketball (sophomores and varsity only) will practice from 10 a.m. to noon. There will be no freshmen practices.
  • Varsity and junior varsity wrestling teams will practice from 3 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.  No freshmen will practice.
  • Gymnastics will practice from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Excel.
