Batavia Whiz Kid: Sam Pedersen

• Accomplishment: Sam was one of five students from the Batavia High School Music Program to participate in the Illinois Music Educator Association's All-State Conference held in January in Peoria, IL.
• Key to awesomeness: Sam plays viola in the Batavia High School Orchestra. Sam auditioned and received a spot in the All-State Band, Chorus, Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble during the four-day conference.
