Batavia School District 101 Looks at Budget Tuesday

The full board will also have a closed session on litigation.

Batavia School District 101 is taking a final look at the Fiscal Year 2014 budget during a special meeting at noon Tuesday, Sept. 24, before taking action at the full board meeting at 7 p.m. at the Rosalie M. Jones Administration Center., 335 West Wilson St.

According to the BoardBook agenda, the noon meeting will include an opportunity of public comments, a review of the 2013-14 budget and 2013 tax levy payable in 2014 and a capital projects update.

Closed Session


  • 9.1 Litigation, when an action against, affecting or on behalf of the particular public body has been filed and is pending before a court or administrative tribunal, or when the public body finds that an action is probable or imminent, in which case the basis for the finding shall be recorded and entered into the minutes of the closed meeting. 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(11).
