During the closed session, board members "will hear testimony on a complaint ... to determine its validity."
Batavia school officials have given notice of a Saturday, Sept. 14, special meeting in which the only action will be an executive session on an employee-complaint matter.
According to the agenda, the purpose of the meeting is to discuss "the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employee(s) of the public body or legal counsel for the public body."
But it further states that the executive session, which is closed to the public, will include "hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity."
The School District 101 Board of Education meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Rosalie Jones Administration Center; 335 West Wilson Street.
There will be a return to open session and adjournment following the discussion.
