School leaders urge students and staff to be cautious around the snowpiles and uncleared sidewalks.

After two straight days off due to the blizzard, it's time to hit the books again.

All Batavia Public Schools will reopen Friday, according to an online message released this afternoon.

The message advises parents, community members, students and staff to be extremely cautious around and near all school and bus stops.

Batavia High School student drop-off and pick-up will be on the Main Street (south end) of the school only.

The school district's maintenance and custodial crews will continue to remove snow accumulation in and around the school for the next few days, the message said.

Please be cautious around the snow removal equipment and while outside in general.
