Community Kickoff Tuesday for Wilson Streetscape Work

Municipal Minute: Pre-construction activities are under way this week.

The city of Batavia is hosting a Community Kickoff meeting for the Wilson Street Streetscape Project at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 39, at City Hall.

The city will introduce the key personnel and will go over the project in detail, including the construction schedule, parking, sidewalk access and construction updates. This will be followed by an open session for residents to look at the drawings and exhibits for this project.

Construction is anticipated to begin May 6, with pre-construction activities to begin the week of April 29.

The Streetscape project will be coordinated with the Wilson Street Traffic Modernization & Interconnect Project that has already begun on Wilson Street at Washington Ave and River Street.
