The Latest Batavia Closures, Reopening Notices

Here's a roundup of what's closed and open in our area on Thursday, Feb. 3 due to the blizzard:

Closures

• All classes. Athletic practices will vary and coaches will be in touch. Information about facility access is pending.
• Park District programs residing at the schools (Kids' Club) are canceled. 
• All Batavia girls basketball games scheduled for tonight against Elgin Larkin (varsity through freshmen) have been canceled. 
• Please note that Metra trains run on a modified schedule today. Check for updates through the train line's Twitter account or at metrail.com

Openings

• , including non-emergency departments, will be open during normal business hours.
• The  opens today at 9 a.m.
• New Horizons preschool classes will resume today, despite the closure of Batavia Public Schools. All other Park District programs, except for school-based ones such as Kids' Club, will resume today.
• Kane County government offices and courts will operate on a normal schedule today.
