The Quality of Kane campaign reflects the county's continuous mission to maintain and enhance an exceptional Kane County with Healthy People, Healthy Living and Healthy Communities.
Residents can learn about the county's plans up close at two open houses. The first will be held today, Nov. 10, at the , 10 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia.

Anyone is free to come and go at the open house from noon until 7 p.m. tonight.

Health
- 2011 Community Health Improvement Plan

Land Use
- Draft 2040 Land Resource Management Plan
- Draft Land Use Map
Students from elementary school to college interested in community design and sustainability are also encouraged to attend.
The second open house will be held from noon to 7 p.m. on Nov. 15 at The Centre of Elgin, South Ball Room, 100 Symphony Way, Elgin.
