Batavia Offers a Toilet Rebate

The city of Batavia is offering a $50 rebate to residential customers who replace their toilets with EPA-rated high-efficiency toilets as part of the water utility's conservation plan.

Toilets eligible for rebate must be HETs (which use an average of 1.28 gallons per flush) and must be on the Environmental Protection Agency's WaterSense list. Rebate checks will be mailed after customers submit two items: the original, dated sales receipt for the toilet showing the manufacturer's model name and number, and the completed rebate form available on the city website.

Residents can mail the forms to: City of Batavia Water Department, Toilet Rebate Program, 200 N. Raddant Road, Batavia, IL 60510.
