Batavia Holiday Garbage + Christmas Tree Pick-Up Schedules 2011

Christmas tree pickup dates go into the second week of January. Here are the details.

Trash Pickup Dates Delayed One Day

All garbage pickup dates this week (Dec. 26-Dec. 30, 2011) and next week are delayed one day due to the holidays. For example, if your trash usually gets picked up on Monday, put it out today (Tuesday) to make sure it gets taken away.

As part of the refuse contract, Veolia Environmental Services will be picking up live Christmas trees on residents’ regular collection dates.

Residents do not have to use a sticker for Christmas tree removal on these dates only.

After these dates, residents should affix a refuse or yard waste sticker to the tree and place it at the curb on their regular collection date. All materials such as plastic bags, ornaments, lights, nails, etc. should be removed from the trees. Live wreaths and garland should be placed in your regular refuse. Please adhere to the following schedule:

Far West Side (west of Randall Rd.):
Tuesday, January 3
Monday, January 9

East Side:
Friday, January 6
Thursday, January 12

West Side:
Saturday, January 7
Friday, January 13
