Police Seek Woman Who Tried to Lure Boys Into SUV in Geneva

Geneva Police seek the public's help in locating a woman who asked two boys to look at a dog in her SUV.

The on Sunday asked residents for any information they might have regarding a white woman in her 50s who reportedly tried to lure two boys into her sports utility vehicle.

At about 12:25 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, Geneva police responded to a report of a suspicious incident in the 300 block of Campbell Street. According to reports, two brothers, ages 8 and 10, were approached by a woman exiting a business in the 300 block of Campbell Street.

The woman approached the two boys and asked if they wanted to see her dog in the back of her SUV parked across the street. The boys declined and told their parents, who contacted the police.

Suspect Description

The woman is described as:

  • White
  • 50-55 years old
  • About 5 feet, 6 inches tall
  • Medium build
  • Gray, collar-length wavy hair
  • Wore blue skirt

Police searched the area but could not find the woman or her SUV.
