Woman Charged With Felony Retail Theft At Menard's

The following information was supplied by the Batavia Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Batavia police arrested Veronica Salinas, 32, of Aurora on charges of felony retail theft after she was reportedly seen taking items valued at $36 from Menards, 300 N. Randall Road, according to a report filed at 5:26 p.m. Jan. 4.

Police confirmed that Salinas had a previous theft conviction, and an assistant state’s attorney authorized the felony charge.

Salinas was taken to the Kane County Jail for bond call.
