Wave of Batavia Burglaries, Car Break-Ins Continue

Here are some Batavia Police blotter items from June 8, 11 and 12.

More items continue to be stolen out of unattended, parked vehicles in Batavia this month, according to police reports.

The latest reported incidents happened between June 8 and 12, all on the city's west side.

A June 11 incident involved an unlocked car and a June 12 incident involved a window that was left down four inches. In a June 8 incident, a front passenger side window was broken to gain entry.

These reports follow a string of car burglaries that occurred June 3 and 4. Other thefts inside and near some residences were also reported that weekend.
