A cause for the crash had not been determined Wednesday.

Ginter reportedly had a CT scan Wednesday morning that didn't show any signs of additional swelling, according to Sarah Ginter's Update Page on Facebook. (Note: You must be logged into Facebook to access the page.)

A post on the page late Tuesday night said there was no change in condition.

Investigators have to wait for toxicology results and the full reconstruction could take some time, said Lt. Pat Gengler, Kane County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer.

They plan to interview Ginter once she better recovers.

"We hope at some point we’ll be able to talk to her," Gengler said. "Getting the information out can be difficult."

Gengler said that at least one of the girls was wearing a seat belt, and the vehicle they were driving in did not have air bags. There were no other witnesses to the crash, he said.

Lynlee Gilbert's family and friends visited the scene of the crash at different times on Tuesday. To read what they had to say and watch a short video of a friend talk about Gilbert, click .
