Underage Drinking: 15-Year-Old Girl Passes Out, 15-Year-Old Boy Charged With Drug Paraphernalia

The following information was supplied by the Batavia Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Batavia police found a 15-year-old girl unconscious and had to transport her to the hospital and charged a 15-year-old boy for possession of drug equipment following an alleged underage-drinking incident reported at 10:59 p.m. Aug. 16 in the 2000 block of Gillenwater Street.

Police responded to a call of an intoxicated subject, and found a female juvenile, 15, unconscious but breathing and transported her to Provena Mercy Medical Center in Aurora. 

The 15-year-old male juvenile admitted to drinking some beer and was taken into custody. Police found in his possession a glass smoking pipe and green leafy substance later tested positive as cannabis. The male juvenile from Batavia was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of cannabis and released to his parents.

 

18-Year-Olds Cited for Underage Drinking

Batavia police cited Paige Corbel, 18, of Aurora and Kaila Bingham, 18, of Batavia on charges of unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, according to a report filed at 3:31 a.m. Aug. 12. Both have a court date of Sept. 17.
