Three People Sent to Hospital Friday After Kirk and Fabyan Car Crash

The two-car crash briefly halted traffic on Fabyan Parkway. Geneva Police and Batavia firefighters responded to the incident. Here's what happened.

Two males and one female were sent to two different hospitals Friday morning after a car crash near Batavia’s northeast side, authorities said.

The crash happened sometime after 8 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Fabyan Parkway and Kirk Road, said Ed Jancauskas, a battalion chief. Batavia Patch spoke with Jancauskas late Friday afternoon.

A 56-year-old West Chicago man was apparently driving a pickup truck involved in the crash. He was headed westbound on Fabyan Parkway and reportedly did not stop at a red light, the Kane County Chronicle reports.
