iPad Stolen
Someone took a black Apple mini iPad valued at $559, according to a report filed at 9:10 a.m. Sept. 24 in the 200 block of North Water Street. The report says the owner is not certain where the theft occurred.

iPhone Disappears in Full Moon Bar
Someone took a driver’s license and iPhone valued at $400 from a victim at the Full Moon Bar, 113 S. Batavia Ave., according to a report filed at 12:10 p.m. Sept. 20.

Charges Follow Retail Thefts at Kohl's
- Batavia police arrested Adalis Parra-Rios, 38, of Aurora on charges of retail theft from Kohl’s, 251 N. Randall Road, according to a report filed at 12:49 p.m. Sept. 19. Parra-Rios is charged with taking three pairs of earrings valued at $54. He posted bond, but his court date is not mentioned in the report.
- Batavia police arrested Sarah C. Kolcz, 19, of Geneva on charges of retail theft at Kohl’s, 251 N. Randall Road, according to a report filed at 6:29 p.m. Sept. 19. Kolcz posted $150 bond and has a court date of Oct. 8.
GENEVA
Purse Taken at Plato's Closet
Someone took a purse from a woman who was shopping at Plato’s Closet, 1900 S. Randall Road, sometime around 4:50 p.m. Sept. 16, reports said. The purse was black leather and contained $520 in cash, a debit card, an Illinois driver’s license and a set of keys. The owner informed the store manager that she observed an unknown young female remove the purse from her shopping cart and exit the store.
