Teens from Wheaton, Carol Stream Steal From Old School Building in Batavia
Here's an item from the March 13 Batavia Police blotter.
Two 19-year-old men from DuPage County were caught stealing from a former school building in Batavia.
Garrett J. Goodman, 19, of 1N147 Franklin St., Wheaton and Christopher Sideris, 19, of 1N242 Farwell St., Carol Stream, were charged with removing several items from the site of the old Louise White School, 24 N. Washington Ave., Batavia, on March 13.
The subjects removed two lion statues, a black bell, the wood post for the bell and a no loitering sign. The items were valued at under $300.
