St. Charles Resident Tries to Disarm Batavia Police Officer During Aggravated DUI
Here's an item from the March Batavia Police blotter.
A 23-year-old St. Charles woman was jailed after a run-in with Batavia Police.
Carmelita Enriquez, 23, of 206 N. 15th St., #A, was charged with aggravated DUI and driving without a driver’s license when she was stopped by police at N. Jefferson and Wilson streets in Batavia on March 14.
Enriquez was also cited for resisting arrest, attempting to disarm a police officer and operating an uninsured vehicle. She was currently awaiting a bond call at the time of this report.
