REPORT: Woman Crashes Into House West of Batavia, Causes Major Damage

The crash occurred while someone was in the home, according to media reports. Here's what happened.

A woman on Sunday badly damaged a home west of Batavia, causing the family that lived there to temporarily relocate.

The woman hit the rear of a house near Bliss and Seavey roads on Sunday afternoon. She drove half-a-mile through a bean field before arriving to the house, the Daily Herald reports.

The driver had non-life threatening injuries, and a female inside the home at the time was not injured, said Randy Banker, a battalion chief, in the Herald's story.

The report did not include a cause for the crash.
