REPORT: Man Accused of Harming Boy in Batavia

The man, in his 40s, faces three counts tied to aggravated battery in an incident that sent a child to a hospital, according to the Daily Herald.

A man on Tuesday turned himself in to Kane County authorities after being named in connection to an April 16 incident of battery against a boy in Batavia.

Nicholas E. Glucksmann faces one count of aggravated battery to a child and two other counts related to aggravated battery, according to the Daily Herald. A criminal complaint said the child had head trauma and a physician suspected what the parents said about what happened was inconsistent with the injury.

The had a warrant for Glucksmann for aggravated battery of a child, according to a police report.

His bail was set at $150,000, 10 percent of which he would have to pay to get out on bond.
