REPORT: Batavia Cemetery Vases Reported Stolen, Worth Thousands
39 vases worth about $15,000 were taken in all, according to nbcchicago.com
The Kane County Sheriff's Department is looking into the disappearance of about 40 brass flowers vases from one of the nearby cemeteries.
The staff at , 1650 S. River St., contacted police on April 27 after a visitor reported a vase missing from a loved one's headstone, according to nbcchicago.com. The estimated value for the vases is $15,600.
