Police: Lyons Man Charged with DUI, Speeding on East Side

Here's an item from this month's Batavia Police blotter.

A 52-year-old Lyons man is headed to court after an April 9 police encounter.

Joseph Bruce, 4219 Prescott Ave., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, improper lane usage, and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was stopped by police at Hubbard Avenue and Kirk Road.

Bruce posted $300 bond and is due to appear in court on May 25.
