Police: Cannabis Possession, Halloween Candy Robbery

Here are some recent police reports involving juveniles.

Batavia Police responded to the following incidents involving juveniles. Here are the reports organized by time and date:

Oct. 31

6:57 p.m.—Robbery

Four teenagers demanded the candy of two juveniles during their trick-or-treat run on Batavia's east side.

One of the juveniles was tackled to the ground on the 800 block of Ridgelawn Trail, according to a police report. The juvenile sustained a cut on an index finger and a swollen hand. No medical assistance was needed.

The other juvenile was pushed down.

All four teenagers fled the area on foot. One of the teenagers wore a "soccer-ball style Halloween mask," according to the report.

The responding officer was unable to locate any of the offenders in this incident.

Nov. 1

12:36 p.m.—Poss. of Cannabis Less Than 31g

A juvenile was taken into custody for possession of cannabis, less than 31 grams, at , 1501 S. Raddant Rd.

The report did not specify the age of the juvenile or the exact amount of grams possessed.

The subject was processed and referred to a detective who handles cases involving juveniles.

10:45 a.m.—Child Custody Dispute

Two subjects were involved in a child custody dispute on the 400 block of Roberts Lane, according to a police report.

11:01 p.m.—Child Abuse

An incident of child abuse was reported on the 300 block of Mill Street, according to a police report.
