Police Blotter: Montgomery Man Nabbed on Kane Co. Warrant

Here's an item from a March Batavia Police blotter.

A 20-year-old Montgomery man was picked up by Batavia Police on March 31 on an outstanding warrant.

Darone J. Mutts, of 12 Rocky Way, was apprehended on the 400 block of South River Street on a Kane County Sherriff’s Office warrant for "crimes against person." The Kane County Sheriff's Office refused to disclose to Batavia Patch what specific crimes this man committed.

The phrase "crimes against person" is basically another name for a crime such as battery, violation of a restraining order, domestic violence or other crimes. The Sheriff's Office use the term "crimes against person" when it prefers not to give out the specific nature of the crime.
